Overview
Ponisha is Iran’s largest freelancing platform, with over 300K freelancers completing more than 100,000 projects. As freelancers ourselves, we have a deep understanding of the Ponisha user personas, and it’s been one of our most enjoyable projects at Webrokh.
Ponisha offers everything a freelancer needs to find, complete, and get paid for projects. With Ponisha, freelancers and digital nomads in Iran can work with just their laptop and WiFi. The platform allows users to find projects and contests, communicate with employers, manage finances, resolve issues, and more.
In a year-long project, we focused on content audit, user flow, and new information architecture. We simplified the freelancer experience by creating a “My Workspace” section that mimics a real-world work environment, where each project is represented as a table. We also designed a clean, minimal, and enjoyable user interface through a design system and over 500 screens. We can’t wait for freelancers to enjoy the platform once the coding is complete.

Handoff
We can always do something more. Handoff refers to the point when designers need to transfer their ideas for development. While it’s primarily the responsibility of the UX team to produce prototypes, assets, and documentation, the design handoff process is a collaborative effort.
